On mission to Madagascar

We travelled to Madagascar in December 2024 for a practical phase of YWAM Lausanne's bilingual French/English discipleship school. It was our first trip to this beautiful island and we were amazed from start to finish, both by the beauty of the country and the people's thirst to receive the Gospel, and by all the doors the Lord opened before us.

We spent the first few weeks in the capital, then moved to the east coast, where we worked with a ministry whose aim was to “reach every unreached village” in Madagascar. During our time there, we walked from village to village to bring the Gospel and serve the local community. The opportunity to join our contact and take a helicopter presented itself, and we took the time to seek God's face in prayer to prepare well. We set off on our mission with his team in the “bush” with Helimission's helicopter, as the village we were going to was unreachable by road. Once there, we set to work; some of us went to help the medical team, made up of a doctor and a dentist, and another part of the team began preaching the Gospel. At that moment, we experienced a manifestation of God's presence. Over a hundred people were waiting for us to pray for them, and many were healed and others delivered in that moment.

During this trip, we were truly touched by the way God led and preceded us step by step into the unknown. He taught us to trust him and expect him.
