The "Petit Logis Burtigny" project consists of creating apartments in an old barn, intended in particular for retired YWAM employees. Convinced that the exchange between generations is important and rich, we wish to allow former employees to have access to modestly priced housing and to remain close to the YWAM base. We are grateful for the valuable advice of a notary and a financial advisor, among others, to bring this beautiful project to fruition.
This spring, with the permission of the municipality, a motivated and efficient YWAM team was able to proceed with the demolition of the old building. By the time you read these lines, the building permit will have been issued, so that the construction work can start in the spring of 2023.
Financially, we already have equity of about half of the budget; this consists of loans from future tenants as well as some donations and loans from friends. We are in the process of applying to banks for a construction loan. However, for the viability of the project in view of the increase in bank interests, we pray and trust God for friends-partners who would be willing to support us:
