A Corner of Heaven

jemsuisseromande

A Corner of Heaven, the new King's Kids show, sold out its five performances in Yverdon and Fribourg.

Following on from their musicals on the lives of George Müller and Gladys Aylward, the KKI musicals presented a new and original Christmas show, rich in color and choreography.

Spectators were treated to a series of varied tableaux on the theme of the nativity and the Christmas atmosphere. The biblical story is alternately transposed to the streets of New York, approached from the point of view of Mary or the shepherds, sometimes caricatured for a touch of humor that delights young and old alike. The message is one of light, and brings us back to what's essential: to put Jesus back at the center of Christmas, so that we can gather around Him across generations and nations.

Once again, the strength of KKI lies in bringing together amateur actors of all ages to develop their artistic potential and delight God's heart with the gifts of each individual, whether they manifest themselves on stage or behind the scenes.

For those who didn't have the chance to attend the performances, or who have been asking for more, A Corner of Heaven will be performed again in December 2025 in other venues in French-speaking Switzerland and France.

“Everything was perfect: the message, the music, the show - with the very funny and telling little scenes. We were very impressed and had a great time. Thank you!!!”

“As always, depth, lights, colors, harmony and a touch of derision without forgetting a good dose of humor. A pleasure for the eyes, the ears... and the heart!”

“It was a magnificent show, moving and often funny. A great success, with a huge turnout. Well done to everyone, especially those who created the music, choreography, sets and so on. It sparkles with imagination, freshness and talent.”
