Princess Tea Party

This project was launched in 2022 with the aim of providing guidance to girls aged 4 to 7 and strengthening their identity as daughters of the King. It consists first of all of workshops where they can have fun and discover their gifts, followed by crafts, a hairstyling workshop, a bouncy castle... lots of different activities where the girls can move around freely. Then comes the moment when we talk about who God is and what He has to say about their identity, followed by a wonderful snack prepared by volunteers from the region, a fashion show, and a dance.

Each little girl arrives dressed in her best dress, and the supervisors also dress up in their finest, even wearing their wedding dresses, which creates a beautiful atmosphere. The room is decorated to match the theme of the day. Boxes have been created with the materials for the entire program, which currently allows four regions to organize such a day in parallel. It is often mothers who get involved.

The project is currently expanding to Yverdon, Blonay, Geneva, and Saint-Imier. Lausanne, Neuchâtel, and Estavayer have also organized such events in recent years. Next year, three fathers are organizing a superhero tea party to provide a similar experience for boys of the same age.

"I was touched and moved by the affirmation of the value and identity of these little princesses, especially during the fashion show. I saw in this tea party the hope of heaven manifested, a part of what the Kingdom of God is on earth, as well as an opportunity for inner healing for everything that has been broken or crushed in our femininity or our value." - a supervisor.
