My name is Mathias (22 years old) and I spent 3 years with YWAM. I first went to a DTS in Hawaii, then to a bible school (SBS) in Montana, then to another school specialized on sexuality in Hawaii, and finally to a film school in London.
I met some amazing people, friends who pushed me in my relationship with Jesus and were always there for me. I learned that it is important to surround yourself with people who push you to grow with respect and patience. I could easily name about 50 people who, over my years at YWAM, have helped me become the man I am now.
Be prepared to leave your comfort zone, but also expect to experience strong friendships and meaning in your life, developing a relationship with the God who created you.
