YWAM Publishing is 50 years old this year - what a magnificent jubilee!
The first YWAM book came out in 1973, thanks to the help of several people motivated to bear witness to God's action within this young missionary movement. This was followed in 1974 by the first edition of the famous collection "J'aime l'Éternel" ("I love the Lord"). Since then, thanks to the hard work of many committed people, first in Lausanne, then in Burtigny and then in Yverdon, more than 120 books and 125 CDs have been produced, as well as 5 songbooks.
The vision of this department is the same as that of YWAM: "to know God and make Him known". We edit and publish tools to edify the Church in the knowledge of God and help it in its missionary calling.
We are so blessed to have been able to encourage the publication of so many mission testimonies, the publishing of quality Christian music, and especially songs of praise to help the church worship God.
We remain focused on French-language publications and make all our products available in every conceivable form. Who would ever have thought that some of our collections would reach the ends of the earth, or that our music would be listened to by millions of people on Youtube or Spotify?
We are happy to support missionary projects whenever we can. For example, we regularly donate thousands of books or CDs to Africa.
