My name is Alanis, I'm 20 and I live in the Yverdon area, Switzerland. In January 2024, I went to Australia for 3 months for a Discipleship Training School, followed by an outreach in Japan. I felt that my faith life wasn't progressing and I wanted to take a break from my studies... so I left. I was apprehensive about leaving my country and family for such a long time. During this school, I felt the immensity of God's love for me. I understood He created me because He wants to have a relationship with me. I have a new purpose in my life: to live not only for God, but with Him. I've also been lucky enough to live in a community centered around Jesus and to create deep friendships. The faith I followed through my family has become my own, and I can't wait to see what God has planned next!
